Nanotechnology emerging as game changer, no longer confined to labs: LG Sinha | KNO

Srinagar, Sept 07 (KNO): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday said that nanotechnology is a game changer and that it is no longer confined to laboratories and has entered almost every industry. Addressing the inaugural session of 5-day International Conference on nanotechnology at the Kashmir University, LG Sinha, per news agency Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said the nanotechnology is being used to solve critical challenges. “In Jammu and Kashmir where the threat of climate-induced disasters is high, nano-based systems can play a vital role in resilience and preparedness,” he said. He added it is imperative to develop nano-based early warning systems for floods, soil erosion, and other natural calamities.
